What this programme does
Rozgar Setu is the bridge between a skill and an income. We prepare people for employment through interview readiness, documentation support and connections to local employers, and we help those who would rather work for themselves to plan and start a small enterprise. For micro-entrepreneurs we provide guidance on registration, basic bookkeeping, pricing and access to the schemes for which they already qualify. Our aim is a household that is earning within a defined period, not one that returns for the next distribution.
Who it serves
Unemployed and underemployed adults, daily-wage workers seeking steadier work, women looking to start home-based enterprise, and young people entering the workforce.
How it is delivered
- Employment readiness sessions — documentation, interviews, workplace basics
- Local employer connections and referrals
- Micro-enterprise guidance, including registration and simple business planning
- Help accessing existing government livelihood and credit schemes

Rs.2,500 supports one person through a full employment-readiness cycle. Rs.10,000 helps a family set up a small home-based enterprise. Professionals can volunteer for a single mentoring session.
