Education is only useful if it ends in an opportunity.
What this programme does
NextGen Shiksha works with young people who have the ability and the willingness but not the access. We support school and college students with learning material and academic guidance, and run short, practical skill courses aimed at the work that is actually available in the region. The emphasis throughout is employability — not certificates that lead nowhere. Wherever a government scholarship or skill scheme already exists, we help students reach it rather than duplicating it.
Who it serves
School and college students from low-income households, out-of-school youth, and young adults looking for a first job or a second chance at one.
How it is delivered
- Short skill courses run in community halls and partner premises
- Academic support and guidance sessions for students who are falling behind
- Tie-ups with local schools and colleges for referral and space
- Help with applications to existing government scholarship and skill schemes

Rs.1,000 covers learning material for a student for a term. Rs.5,000 sponsors a place on a short skill course. You can also volunteer as a subject tutor or a trainer for a weekend batch.
These figures are provisional until the Foundation confirms its real per-beneficiary costs.
