Child Protection and Photo Consent Policy

Our position until the board decides

Nityasevanexgenz Foundation serves children among other groups. Until the board confirms a formal position, the following applies to this website without exception:

• No photograph is published in which a child's face is identifiable.
• No story on this website names a minor. Where a child is referred to, initials or a first name only are used.
• No detail is published that could identify where a specific child can be found — no school name paired with a name, no home address, no routine.
• Where an image is valuable but consent is absent, faces are blurred or the composition is changed to remove identifying features.

This is the safe default and it costs the Foundation nothing to start there.

Consent for photographs and stories

Where we photograph anyone at a camp, drive or session, we seek their consent at the point the photograph is taken. For a child, that consent is sought from a parent or guardian in writing, in Marathi, and covers website, social media and print use. A copy is retained in our consent register. Any photograph reaching us without a corresponding register entry is not published.

Withdrawing consent

Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Write to us at nityasevanexgenzfoundation@gmail.com or call +91 79729 70885, and we will remove the photograph or story from this website promptly and from our social media as soon as we are able.

Conduct at our programmes

Volunteers and staff working with children are expected to behave appropriately at all times, never to be alone with a child where it can be avoided, and to report any concern to a director immediately. Concerns can be raised directly with either director, whose contact details are on our Contact page.
